Paint-ins/Meetings are held the second Friday of each month unless noted at Anaheim Plaza Community Room, 530 N. Euclid Street, Anaheim, CA 92801. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. with the paint-ins or meeting starting at 9:30 a.m.

Susan Adams Bentley Biography
Susan Adams Bentley lives in Hacienda Heights with Bob, her husband of 38 years, and Rosebud, the cat that owns them!
Susan loves to teach. She spends a majority of her time teaching piano lessons to both children and adults in her home studio. She also enjoys teaching decorative painting and taught weekly classes at Carousel Crafts until the store went out of business. She teaches each year at one or more SDP chapters, as well as occasional private lessons. Whether she teaches decorative painting or piano, it brings her a great deal of pleasure.
Susan started decorative painting classes in 1986. Her medium of choice is acrylics. Learning to paint did not come easily to her. She took copious notes in every class she took to help her learn about this art form. In 1988, her husband encouraged her to turn her notes into a book. Though she doubted it would ever be published, she followed her husband’s advice and wrote a reference book for acrylic painters. She was thrilled when The Jackie Shaw Studio told her they would publish it. The first edition of “The Acrylic & Fabric Painter’s Reference Book” was released in 1989. The fourth (and final) edition was released in 1998.

The deadline has passed to order the snowman light box but this project could be put on many different surfaces. Go to your stash and use your imagination. This 4-hr. class will be a lot of fun.
